HMS Danae was Commissioned in Plymouth on the 10th of October 1967.
During the commission she traveled some 100,000 miles.
One of her more interesting jobs was that of escorting, in company with HMS Naiad, the Royal Yacht Britannia on the Queens visit to South America.
Included in these web pages are crew lists of the time and a list of crew currently still in touch.
There are photographs of ‘Then & Now’ and information of our reunions which we hold usually in April of each year.
