Alpha Playtest Art

Playtest cards have come a long way. Back before the game started, Richard Garfield had to use miscellaneous pieces of clip art to illustrate the cards. And, because he is a creative gentleman, his art choices went beyond straightforward fantasy images, incorporating comic strips and other pop culture icons. For example: these four cards!
