2013 Movie Awards Summary

Well, guys, the 2013 MTV Movie Awards have come and gone, and though we're sad they're over, we're beyond psyched with how they turned out. How amazing was Rebel Wilson? From the opening with James Franco and the Iron-Mangina to her invasive koala cam to her impromptu and hilarious acceptance speech for Breakthrough Performance, she really was a 'Pitch Perfect' host.

Emma Watson The MTV Movie Awards are really for the films and our favorite stars came out in full force. Bradley Cooper started things off on a serious note with a meaningful acceptance speech for Best Male Performance but the tone turned lighthearted when Adam Sandler and Chris Rock took the stage to present Best WTF Moment to 'Django Unchained' duo Jamie Foxx and Samuel L. Jackson, both of whom later returned to the stage to accept the MTV Generation Award and Best Fight respectively. MTV Trailblazer honoree Emma Watson gave the most gracious thanks while Comedic Genius Award winner Will Ferrell kept his cool when his speech was spontaneously interrupted by Aubrey Plaza. All spirits were high when 'Marvel's The Avengers' took home the Golden Popcorn for Movie Of The Year.

On the music front, the aca-amazing cast of 'Pitch Perfect' joined Rebel on stage for a medley of epic proportions. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis killed it with an infectious performance of "Can't Hold Us" and Selena Gomez debuted her hot new single "Come & Get It" with some seriously skilled dance moves.
