THE FAT LADY 

Synopsis: When defected US Military Solider Tax Holland is finally found 19 years after his last mission, he is needed to catch up with his past childhood friend Uzi Tarter, which also happens to be his long time war-buddy, and stop him from completely obliterating America with Nuclear Weapons of Mass Destruction!!! Tax will have to find it within himself to let ‘bygones be bygones’ when it comes to any past discrepancies between the two and make his best friend -- 'or perhaps now potential enemy', stop his long awaited plans on the collapse of the American Government -- right alongside the citizens within it -- and that’s if those plans are still even the same anymore???

Setting: The year is 2065 & the future is not all what it seems to be. North America -- along with the rest of the world faced another World War some 30 years prior -- making the 3rd time the charm -- and Nuclear Weapons of Mass Destruction were used on all sides of the playing field. We all know this hasn't happened since World World II -- hence 'The Fat-Man' & 'The Little-Boy' that detonated over Nagasaki & Hiroshima -- just to refresh our memories. And so with this Extension Level Event crippling all major countries economic value making it the most 'Greatest Depression' ever in the history of mankind -- over time -- one city on American Soil actually overcomes this obstacle -- 'INFINITY CITY!!!'. A futuristic city in all sense of the word. Where the humanistic & technological possibilities are endless. Forced for a symbol of hope not only for America, but for all of humanity making the ultimate statement: This is what the future & the vision for the entire world is suppose to look like. The true vision of a one world economy -- but only one city at a time of course. So while the rich live under the beautiful circumference of the holographic dome -- the outsiders have to wait there turn as they live in most horrible conditions. Nothings perfect right -- except for the metropolis futuristic utopia just a hologram away as it is heavily guarded to the tee by our one true friend Uncle Sam & his army we love so much. So on that note, I'd like to personally welcome you to the future. Do you want to see what it holds???

Genre: This is a Sci-fi, Fantasy, Action, Drama, & Suspense all wrapped in within itself.

Thematic Elements: Kids are the way of the future -- Not technology. The 'future' as a 'word' within itself & how we persevere it as human beings on this planet. Nuclear weapons will kill us all!!! -- Best Friends -- To The End (Literally Speaking). (Among Others Elements Hinted Inside The Main As Well As Backstory).

Style: I'm going for the realistic & cinematic feel in a futuristic world that's not so futuristic except for this particular city -- so it's suppose to be ironic. Some references I like to pay homage to are "Blade Runner" -- "Elysium" -- "Appleseed" -- & "Metropolis" (both Anime & 1930's versions) Just to name a few futuristic moves I personally love, but now making my own take of it for this graphic novel.

With all that said, here is my 1st concept for the Heroin/Protagonist of the story...

This is the defected Ex-US Military Soldier Tax Holland back in uniform for his last mission to look for his childhood friend as well as long-time war buddy Uzi Tarter. This is a man who's pretty much lost everyone he loves. He lost his wife through childbirth with his son, & he lost his son through a random kidnapping he himself couldn't prevent regardless of his expertise. Now hiding in plain sight by working a Government job in which another war-buddy of his got him inside the massive holographic dome of  'Infinity City' under a bogus alias 'Frank Teller', he eventually gets found by Unit Commander Nathan Means who brings him in & suits him up & takes him into the most top secret mission to save his country one last time.

Now lets talk about the New-Grade US Military Suit. You've got your comm-link top left area of neck-line if you want speaker mode, or you can go personal when you easily pop out the comfortable metallic ear bud attached to the comm-link itself (too small to see in pic, lol). You have the life support status bar on the left side of his chest area.This visual feature is obvious & speaks for itself but must be explained in technical terms. Depending on the situation, whether in combat or in a safe-zone, or whether in a near-death situation, the suit will automatically inject the necessary & natural amount of vitamins &/or adrenaline serums into the blood stream of the Solider through their spores. This gives the Soldier both the mental as well as tactical advantage when the suit calculates the body's needs. The white lining coming out from the chest area and running down his arms are proof of that result. Next is the armor which is a snug & comfortable fit on Tax so he can easily move through any terrain. And if you say the yellow sticks out like a sore thumb, you would be right, but all that can change with the settings section that is integrated into the suit, which is located on Tax's right hand/wrist area. This is a manual way of controlling features in the suit. This is perfect for checking for accurate coordinates, temperature readings inside & outside of the suit, & getting back to the yellow sections of the suit -- all of that can change into black. Or for much better terms, stealth/camouflage mode. So I implore you to look as this feature as color coordinated perspective, for example, if a group of Soldiers were out on a mission that was during the day, this can prevent confusion among other units & even friendly fire just to name a few. Moving on, he's also has 6 fully loaded magazine clips on his sides for easy access & quick reload on his high powered assault rifle. What can't be seen is Tax's backside area where he can easily attached or detach a compact slickly made parachute compartment. This is a reusable feature as the entire chute itself can be sucked back into the compartment. The only thing that's missing in the suit is the new US Military Logo/Symbol which I have not created as of yet. That will be placed on the right & left armor/shoulder pads, overlapping a small portion of the yellow so it can be visible.
