Jorge Pardo (born 1963 in Havana) is a Cuban-American artist and sculptor.[1][2][3][4] In 2010 he won a MacArthur Fellowship.[5]

Life[edit]

Pardo was born in Havana but his family relocated to Chicago when he was six. He studied at the University of Illinois and received his BFA from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.[6] His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and Centre Pompidou in Paris.
