Hi Jennifer,
Thank you for taking us along with you on this hunt for wild mushrooms. It is wonderful that you live in an area with so many edible mushrooms available and how great it was that you found mushrooms for dinner in your own yard. I love mushrooms and eat them regularly however I have to purchase mine.My favorites are shiitake, portabella and maitake. I would love to take a wild edible foods tour and I hope to do so in my state. I am so glad you shared this amazing post with us at the the Healthy, Happy, Green and Natural Party Blog Hop.

How marvelous that you had fresh figs for breakfast. We grew up with a fig tree in our yard but I have not had fresh figs in years. Nice idea to try! Your vegan cheese sauce is amazing. Nutritional yeast, lemon, basil, garlic, and turmeric are staples in my kitchen but I have not tried Hemp butter yet. Where did you find it? I too remember those foam or synthetic rubber rug pads from my childhood home and the damage they caused our floors. It is also so unfortunate that most of us are not aware of the dangerous chemicals released from new carpets in our homes. These ecofriendly rug pads sound amazing.
