Network18 Media & Investments Limited is a leading media and entertainment company in India, with interests in television, internet, filmed entertainment, digital commerce, magazines, mobile content and allied businesses.

It has an extensive outreach spanning close to 225 million television viewers and an average of approximately 25 million unique digital visitors per month.

As a dynamically evolving entity, the Company is continuously scaling new landmarks in its progressive journey. The Company crossed an iconic milestone during FY2014-15, with Independent Media Trust (“IMT”), of which RIL is the sole beneficiary, completing the acquisition of Network18 Media & Investments Limited (“Network18”), including its subsidiary TV18 Broadcast Limited (“TV18”). With the completion of this transaction, IMT and RIL became promoters of Network18 and TV18.

Following the acquisition, the Board of Directors of Network18 was reconstituted, with Mr. Manoj Mohanka, Mr. Hari S. Bhartia, Mr. Sanjay Ray Chaudhuri, Ms. Vandana Malik and Mr. Subhash Bahl resigning from the Board. Mr. Raghav Bahl resigned from the post of Managing Director of the Company. He continues as a Non-Executive Director on the Boards of both Network18 and TV18. The new Directors who joined the Board at different stages were Mr. Rohit Bansal, Mr. Vinay Chhajlani (Non-Executive Directors), Mr. Adil Zainulbhai, Mr. Deepak Parekh, Mr. Rajiv Luthra, Mr. Dhruv Kaji and Ms. Nirupama Rao (Independent Directors).
