Anything above a 1.00 in the cylinder box of your prescription would best be corrected by prescription reading glasses. This is very subjective. Some people with lesser amounts of astigmatism may feel the need for their astigmatism correction and some people with even more amounts of astigmatism may not. Over the counter readers will correct you, but for long periods of reading, prescription reading glasses will most likely provide you with the most clarity.
