Manage your HomeKit from iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
HomeKit technology allows you controlling any smart device with badge "Works with Apple HomeKit" (Compatible with Apple HomeKit) from your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
Below is a quick guide how to make them work together.
Get started
To start working with HomeKit, you need:
1) One or more compatible devices. These include lights, locks, thermostats, smart plugs and dozens of other devices for every taste and money;
2) An iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 8.1 or later;
3) Ezzi Home app, which is waiting for you here.
Once you`ve done with that, all you need is to set the devices and Ezzi Home app to work together smoothly.
Set up HomeKit on iOS
Please check that:
1) Your accessory is HomeKit-compatible;
2) All your devices are connected to the same WI-FI network and are turned ON;
3) You've enabled iCloud Keychain (Settings->iCloud->Keychain->On);
4) You've allowed HomeKit for Ezzi Home on your iOS device (Settings->Privacy->HomeKit->On)
Pair your device and Ezzi Home app
1) Find the setup code which comes with your device. It looks like this:
Please note: if you can't find your setup code, contact the manufacturer of the accessory.
2) Open the Ezzi Home app on your iPhone/iPad or iPod touch, then point your device's camera at the setup code to scan it
