I am echoing Sir Guy's thoughts. I like the base work and the conversions like the cloak & added bits on the model. The freehand work is very clean, and pops nicely.
Speaking critically, the only minor thing I would like to see is a little more depth on the horse's skin, I am not sure if its the camera flash, but the skin and tail look like they could use a little bit of highlighting maybe?

Really nice one!!!
Tancred,
This is a really great miniature, beautifully painted and based.
I'm truly glad I didn't have time to enter anything this year, especially with entries like this.
Well done!
Sir Guy
