Description:
Here's my completed Mousillon KotR Standard Bearer.
I've carried out a small degree of conversion / modification work on this miniature.
I removed the plastic banner and staff from the knight's right hand, and replaced them with two pieces of copper wire (obtained from a couple of length of old house mains electrical cable) and a piece of lead foil from the top of a wine bottle (contents were consumed first), to reproduce a medieval banner.
I removed the raised shields and other unwanted details from the horse barding.
I added an old 4th or 5th edition Bretonnian shield - with a raised spread eagle detail on its surface - and put an arrow into it. The arrow is made from a section of safety pin and the fletchings are tiny pieces of lead foil.
Finally, I added my own water slide decals to the knight's surcoat, shield, horse barding and the banner.
The heraldry on the banner represents my Duc of Mousillon miniature, and that on the knight's shield, horse barding and surcoat is that of the Standard Bearer's own.
