Listen: Ariana Grande turns up the heat in 'Let Me Love You' featuring Lil Wayne
Ariana Grande

Pop singer Ariana Grande premiered her new song, "Let Me Love You," on April 17. She turns up the heat with this risque tune and trap-lite production.

"Let Me Love You" is one of the songs on Grande's third studio album, Dangerous Woman. She has so far previewed the upcoming release with the lead single, the title track, and the '90s house-like tune, "Be Alright." Ariana continues taking a more mature route with "Let Me Love You," which features rap superstar Lil Wayne.

Longtime Grande collaborator Tommy Brown and R&B producer Mr. Franks worked on "Let Me Love You." Trap-lite sounds and hip-hop beats back Ariana as she details looking for love on the rebound. "And if it feels right / Promise I don't mind / And it feels right / Promise I'll stay here all night," Grande sings in haunting performance. Sometimes Lil Wayne features seem cut and pasted in but this around, he creeps in and adds to the fire to the steamy track. "And what you need your ex for? I'm triple X, Lord," Weezy raps. Ariana appears drunk in love in this confessional of provocative proportions.

"Let Me Love You" is now available on iTunes and Apple Music. Grande's Dangerous Woman album will be released on May 20. When the "Dangerous Woman" single opened at No. 10 on Billboard's Hot 100 last month, she became the first artist in the history of the chart to debut within the top 10 with the lead singles from each of her first three studio albums.
