Directions

From Route 18 North:

• Follow Route 18 north past the entrance for the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 1.
• After the first traffic light (Paulus Blvd.), bear right to get into local lanes (following signs for New Brunswick Exits), and take the exit ramp off to the LEFT marked Route 172 – Cook/Douglass.
• At the light, turn left onto Route 172 – Cook/Douglass. The ramp becomes George Street.
• Once on George Street, get into the right lane and continue through the stop light at Nichol Avenue.
• At the next street turn left onto Jones Avenue and go one block.
• The theater is in the basement of the Jameson Residence Hall D on the left.

From Route 18 South:

• Follow Route 18 south toward downtown, and merge into the right-hand local lane.
• Take the Commercial Avenue exit.
• As soon as possible, merge into the left lane.
• At the second light, turn left onto George Street.
• Take the next right onto Jones Avenue and go one block.
• The theater is in the basement of the Jameson Residence Hall D on the left.

From Route 1 North & South:

• Follow Route 1 to the “Route 18 north – New Brunswick” exit and follow our Route 18 north directions.

From the New Jersey Turnpike North & South:

• Take Exit 9 (marked “New Brunswick”) off the New Jersey Turnpike.
• Follow signs for “Route 18 north – New Brunswick” and follow our Route 18 north directions.

From the Garden State Parkway Southbound (from North Jersey):

• Follow the Parkway to Exit 129 for the New Jersey Turnpike south and follow our directions from the Turnpike.

From the Garden State Parkway Northbound (from South Jersey):

• Take Exit 127 for I-287 to the New Jersey Turnpike south.
• Follow our directions from New Jersey Turnpike.

From Route 27 North or South:

• Take Route 18 south and follow our directions from Route 18 south.

From 287 North & South:

• Take the New Jersey Turnpike south exit.
• Follow our directions from the New Jersey Turnpike.

Parking

Parking is available in the Parking Deck and Lot 70 (on the left side of Lipman Drive just past Davison Hall) starting 30 minutes prior to the scheduled performance time for visitors only and limited metered on street parking around the theater. Please note that the availability of campus lots may change depending on the schedule of university events. It is strongly recommended that patrons call ahead to confirm parking lot authorizations for the performance they wish to attend.

Campus Bus Directions

From College Avenue, Busch, or Livingston Campuses:

• On weekdays take the EE (from CAC), REXB (from Busch) or REXL (from Livingston) to the Cabaret Theatre/Jameson stop. On weekends, take the Weekend 1 (from Busch and Livingston) or the Weekend 2 (from Busch or CAC) to the Cabaret Theatre/Jameson stop.
• From the Cabaret Theatre/Jameson stop, walk down Nichol Ave. (towards the Student Center). Turn left onto George Street and then left onto Jones Avenue. Alternative: From the Cabaret Theatre/Jameson stop, walk down Nichol Avenue (away from the Student Center). Turn right onto Suydam Street and then right onto Jones Avenue.
• The theater is in the basement of the Jameson Residence Hall D.

Public Transportation Directions

By Train:

• NJ Transit services the New Brunswick station via the Northeast Corridor line.
• Once in New Brunswick, take the stairs down to street level (Somerset Street).
• Catch the EE Rutgers bus to the Douglass Campus.
• Take the EE (weekdays) or Weekend 2 (weekends) bus to the Cabaret Theatre/Jameson stop.
• From the Cabaret Theatre/Jameson stop, walk down Nichol Ave. (toward the Student Center).
• Turn left onto George Street and turn left onto Jones Avenue.
• Rutgers buses are free.
