Throughout my life I’ve owned all types of water bottles, whether they were for sports, camping, road trips, weight lifting and the list goes on. I realize that there will always be a high demand for water bottles, as long as there is water on the planet. However, there’s one water bottle that I have never owned, seen online, or in stores anywhere. It’s a water bottle that converts into three different sizes which is currently in patent pending status. This idea came about in 2010 when my daughter went camping with her Girl Scout Troop. On the camping trip she took her 24oz water bottle with her. During dinner she said that she and the other Scouts had to use 12 or 16 ounce cups for drinking and not their water bottles. The water bottles were to be used and filled entirely with water when they went hiking. After she told me that, a light bulb came on, and I saw the need to create this brilliant idea. I found the solution to a problem not only for camping trips but for everyday life. If anyone wants to drink from a 16oz, 24oz, or 32oz individual water bottle they can with this idea. Its three individual size water bottles in one water bottle, amazing! In order for this to happen the water bottle can be untwisted or twisted (leak-proof) in three places, slightly above the 16oz line, slightly above the 24oz line and slightly above the 32oz line. Also, the lid (leak-proof) that will be provided can fit each individual size, the 16oz, 24oz or 32oz.I named this idea “SMEDGE”, which means Small, MEDium and larGE. This water bottle separates for easy carrying and easy cleaning. “SMEDGE” is not your ordinary water bottle; with this water bottle you are not restricted to one size.The main focus of this kickstarter project is to be able to get a more accurate working prototype created.
