Government Technological Collage (Pathein) was initially opened on 27th December,in 1999. It was situated at field number 168 (beside the Pathein- Kyangin railway), Apin-na-sel Village , Kangyidaunt township , Pathein Destrict, Ayeyarwady Region. The board of the Government of Union of Myanmar upgraded it to the Technological University of Pathein on 20th January,in 2007. Dr .Kyaw Thu Ya Ph.D (EC),  Professor,now serves  as a principal of this institution.

ဖွဲ့စည်းတည်ထောင်ခဲ့သည့်ခုနှစ်နှင့်သမိုင်းကြောင်း

 

     အစိုးရ နည်းပညာ ကောလိပ်(ပုသိမ်)အား ၁၉၉၉ခုနှစ်၊ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ(၂၇)ရက်နေ့တွင် ဧရာဝတီတိုင်းဒေသကြီး-ပုသိမ်ခရိုင် ကန်ကြီးထောင့်မြို့နယ်၊အပင် နှစ်ဆယ်ကျေးရွာရှိ ကွင်းအမှတ်(၁၆၈) ပုသိမ်-ကြံခင်း မီးရထားလမ်း ဘေး အဆောက်အဦးတွင် စတင် ဖွင့်လှစ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ၂၀၀၇ခုနှစ်၊ ဇန်နဝါရီလ(၂၀)ရက်နေ့တွင် ပြည်ထောင်စု မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော် အစိုးရ အဖွဲ့မှ တက္ကသိုလ်အဆင့်သို့ တိုးမြှင့်ခဲ့ပြီး နည်းပညာ တက္ကသိုလ်(ပုသိမ်)အဖြစ်သို့ ဖွင့်လှစ်ပေးခဲ့ ပါသည်။ ယခု ကျောင်းအုပ်ကြီး အဖြစ် ဒေါက်တာကျော်သူရ ပါမောက္ခ Ph.D(EC) မှ တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင် လျက်ရှိပါသည်။

    နည်းပညာ တက္ကသိုလ်(ပုသိမ်)သည် ဧရာဝတီတိုင်းဒေသကြီး-ပုသိမ်ခရိုင် ကန်ကြီးထောင့်မြို့နယ်၊အပင် နှစ်ဆယ်ကျေးရွာရှိ ကွင်းအမှတ်(၁၆၈) ပုသိမ်-ကြံခင်း မီးရထားလမ်း ဘေးတွင် တည်ရှိပါသည်။ နည်းပညာ တက္ကသိုလ်(ပုသိမ်)၏ အကျယ်အဝန်းမှာ (၂၇.၄၅)ဧက ကျယ်ဝန်းပါသည်။
