Red Hat® Cloud Suite combines multiple Red Hat products that are optimized to work together as a hybrid cloud with unified and easy-to-use management.

Red Hat Cloud Suite highlights

What is Red Hat Cloud Suite?

Red Hat Cloud Suite provides a container-based application development platform, which is built on a massively-scalable cloud infrastructure and managed through a common management solution. Red Hat Cloud Suite delivers public cloud-like services to developers and to businesses while maintaining control and visibility.

With Red Hat Cloud Suite, users can build a private cloud based on Red Hat OpenStack Platform with public cloud-like scalability, or on Red Hat Virtualization with high-performance virtualization. Both of these choices provide secure and scalable foundations for hosting the development platform known as OpenShift Enterprise, which automates the development and administration of container-based applications.

Red Hat Cloud Suite Features

Modernize apps and run them where you need them

Develop modern applications on a container-based application platform. Run workloads in containers or virtual machines on a variety of different platforms.

All the parts you need in one solution

We've tightly integrated cloud technologies so you don't have to piece together a solution. Fully-supported components work together seamlessly to help you build cloud environments, write apps, and maintain integrated management, governance, and workload portability.

Manage your IT environment from a single place

Use the same management tool across virtualization, private cloud, app-development platform, containers, and public cloud.

Update your infrastructure

Build a complete and easy-to-manage OpenStack Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) private cloud on top of what you already have, allowing you to deliver public cloud scalability and speed up service delivery.

Red Hat Cloud Suite Tools

Included with Red Hat Cloud Suite are serveral tools that will help you streamline installation and select the appropriate components for your deployment.

QuickStart Cloud Installer

The QuickStart Cloud Installer is a web-based graphical user interface for provisioning cloud products. In one straight-forward installation, you can use it to install and configure a single product or multiple products, including Red Hat Virtualization, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat Satellite, OpenShift Enterprise, and Red Hat CloudForms.

Its single, intuitive web-based graphical user interface eliminates the need to switch between different installation methods and interfaces for each product.

An environment at your fingertips

Verify and validate your private cloud infrastructure and auto-generate a list of minimum system requirements for the entire environment prior to deploying.

Automate your subscriptions

Integrate with the Red Hat customer portal for automated subscription management.

Leverage your existing storage

Integrates with Red Hat Storage (Ceph and Gluster) using your existing storage configurations for Red Hat Virtualization, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, or OpenShift Containter Platform deployments.

Simple, yet fully integrated

Simplified multi-product workflow requiring only minimal documentation for deploying fully-integrated private cloud infrastructures.

Feature Compatibility Matrices

A Red Hat Cloud Infrastructure or Red Hat Cloud Suite subscription provides access to multiple Red Hat products with complementary feature sets. This reference summarizes the specific interoperability and feature compatibility considerations across the various product releases to better understand supportability of specific features.

Cloud Deployment Planner

If you plan on deploying multiple products, using this tool will help you determine which product versions to deploy. The Feature Compatibility Tool will help you understand which product versions will work well together and the Life Cycle Compatibility Tool will tell you which versions have compatible support lifecycles.
