I advocate using "genomics in the broad sense", or, channelling my inner taxonomist, Genomics <i>sensu lato</i>. Here genomics means "measurement at a genome-wide scale" and it works better for a broader audiences, including clinicals with constructs like "Genomic medicine"





Alternatives include "multi-omics" or just " 'omics" but these are less broadly known and require more often explanations, leading to the long shopping list of technologies; the 'omics formulation is cute, but then you have to explain the whole back-formation with the apostrophe 




One could go for the shopping list "genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics" but then practicalities of space, and things left off the specific list - is this deliberate (no phosphoproteomics ? is this in or out) and explaining each of these words is hard




Hence, "genomics" which can be expanded to "measuring the molecules of life, including DNA, in a comprehensive manner" as a potential explainer. Thoughts? Is there a better way through this?

Dear Mark, Alden, (Ed, Sid, Ma~Janie, John, Peter, All),

Greetings from an asylum place on the eastern seaboard of the USA for about the past 14 months. How are you, Mark? I missed seeing you at Alden and Marianne's 50th anniversary in Burlingame, but it was great to see your brother Alex and his Heather then. As you may read below, I reached out to Professor Hank Greely yesterday and about 25 other people regarding my ongoing seeking to move the WUaS Academic Medical Center with WUaS Longevity Genetics' Institute and myself back into 670 Ridgecrest Road Canyon 94516 on around November 1, 2023, having paid a $1,750 deposit down for a shipper / mover in Richmond VA to move my things from PIttsburgh PA 15221 in storage to Canyon CA 94516 arriving on September 1, 2023, but had to cancel this thanks to a call from Ed Smyth MD to me on Cuttyhunk island on August 25th. In that phone call, Ed suggested !) flying to the SF Bay Area to explore 2) planning to 3) move the WUaS Academic Medical Center, among many things, and which I did do from Sun 10/1/23- W 10/4/23 picking up a year's worth of World Univ & Sch mail in the WUaS PO Box 442 in Canyon CA 94516 on Monday 10/2/23. Ed (above) also may have sought to precipitate my moving into 670 Ridgecrest Road Canyon 94516 for a song in 2 long phone calls in March of 2022, and John (Sargent MD at Tufts Medical Center) also suggested in a very short phone call of May of 2022 when I called him from a 'safe house' north of Berzerkeley (where I lived for nearly 2 years) when I called him to ask him his thoughts about my moving forward into Canyon 94516 again (where Alden visited me once too) said yes, it makes sense to move into Canyon CA 94516 if it's safe, but how to know if it's become safe is the question; the heinous criminality of my previous landlord Tom wylie, in Canyon 94516 since around 1969, may be at stake here in part. And per John Sargent MD's rhetorical question to me, I think this will be when the US federal and states of CA, (PA, MA etc) law work effectively together. 

Ed Smyth MD grew up in the same neighborhood as CA Governor Gavin Newsom in SF, and before your great father, John Briscoe, died, he told me, Mark, that you are part of CA Governor Gavin Newsom's circles. 

Mark, I found your Santa Cruz county email online - mark.briscoe@santacruzcounty.us - here - https://apps.calbar.ca.gov/attorney/Licensee/Detail/248139 - and am writing to inquire about how to sign a deed of ownership, or a lease, at 670 Ridgecrest Road Canyon 94516, as expeditiously. How do Deeds to property work in California? Are they filed in the county? Could you have access to Contra Costa county deeds regarding your legal work as a lawyer in the Santa Cruz county district attorney's office? Is there a way I could sign a deed of ownership for this 670 Ridgecrest Road Canyon CA 94516 3 dwelling house, shop and property of possibly a little more than an acre of land in the next day or two?
