The Secretary's Office of Global Partnerships is the entry point for collaboration between the U.S. Department of State, the public and private sectors, and civil society. Launched in 2009, S/GP aims to strengthen and deepen U.S. diplomacy and development around the world through partnerships that leverage the creativity, innovation, and core business resources of partners for greater impact. The Acting Special Representative for Global Partnerships is Thomas Debass.

S/GP is working with partners across sectors, industries, and borders to promote economic growth and opportunity; to invest in the well-being of people from all walks of life; and to make democracy serve every citizen more effectively and justly. Learn More»



WiSci 2016

Date: 2016 Description: The U.S. Department of State, alongside United Nations Foundation's Girl Up campaign, Google, Intel Corporation, and other partners, is proud to launch the second WiSci camp from July 23 to August 7 in Peru. S/GP’s third annual State of Global Partnerships Report, released during Global Partnerships Week in March 2016, features public-private partnerships across the State Department that are achieving progress towards the Department’s strategic priorities as outlined in the 2015 Quadrennial Defense and Diplomacy Review as they aim to strengthen and deepen U.S. diplomacy and development around the world. This year’s report builds on the success of S/GP’s 2014 and 2015 reports.
