Over the past 10 years, I have built my career on understanding people, advocating for the customer and solving problems that fulfill human needs and create business success. From tactical to strategic, my skills blur the lines between Experience Design and Brand.
Currently, I’m a Design and User Experience Manager at Autodesk helping shape the future of architecture, engineering, and construction software. Previously, I was the Design and User Experience Manager for all online marketing properties at Constant Contact.
I’m also an independent design and user experience consultant, helping organizational leaders design and build great products, experiences and brands that their customers love.
Along the way, I’ve been passionate about sharing what I’ve learned and make it a special point to help others the way many have helped me. I’m an instructor and mentor at MITX Up and the Startup Institute. I also speak frequently within the community on the topic of design. Topics include design process management, responsive web design, design thinking, website conversion, how to get hired and understanding career paths for designers.
When I’m not working, you can find me playing guitar, writing music and spending time with my wife, family and friends. I enjoy an occasional scotch and cigar in Boston’s North End.
