We also run monthly skills workshops covering many different subjects, based on both professional skills and interest sessions.

SCHOOLS

Elmet offer a range of teaching packages for schools tailored for all age groups.

Archaeology provides a fantastic arena in which to develop functional skills, and can be a great way to teach and develop personal learning and thinking skills.

We are now offering a range of National Curriculum prehistory classes specifically aimed at KS2.

Classes can be booked as full or half days, and will engage pupils with a planned and balanced curriculum.

All of our classes can be expanded or contracted depending on the focus you require. Classes can also be adjusted to consider a particular period or theme.

We supply fully qualified, DBS checked instructors, session plans and all materials.

ADULT EDUCATION

Adult educational programmes are delivered by qualified tutors in subjects ranging from archaeology and history to transferable and employability skills.

Further and higher education can be considered as developments of introductory courses with accredited programmes at levels one, two and three.

We also deliver monthly sessions on different archaeological skills and historical subjects for the OAKS Unit history group as part of our reminiscence sessions, Opening the Memory Box. To find out more click here.
