A video of 'Bigg Boss 10' contestant Swami Omji slapping and physically abusing a woman on live television during a news debate has gone viral.

In the debate, the panel discussing Radhe Maa comprised Om Swami and astrologer Deepa Sharma, among others. After a heated argument in which Om Swami questioned the integrity of Deepa Sharma, she got up and picked up a fight with Om Swami. Om Swami retaliated by slapping and hitting Deepa Sharma.

On entering the 'Bigg Boss' house, Om Swami narrated a story to Deepika Padukone, who was the first celebrity guest on the show, about how late Hollywood actress Elizabeth Taylor visited him in India. Om Swami claimed that Elizabeth Taylor's outfit angered him as it was "revealing and transparent" and so he kicked her on the waist.

Om Swami claimed that he 'cured' Elizabeth Taylor of her chronic backache with his kick. Deepika Padukone's reaction to Swami 'bragging' was as awkward as you can imagine.

This is not the first time the 59-year-old has courted controversy. He has earlier issued death threats to Arvind Kejriwal and threatened to kidnap Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan.
