Calgary, Alberta – September 27, 2016 – BluEarth Renewables is pleased to announce that Roslyn McMann will join the team as Director, Market Development, effective October 11, 2016.
In this new role, Roslyn will work closely with the BluEarth Executive team, leveraging her substantial energy industry and policy experience in order to increase market opportunities for BluEarth and renewable energy. “I am excited about this opportunity to contribute to the success of the highly-respected industry-leading team at BluEarth,” said McMann. “Renewable energy has made significant advances in many jurisdictions. I look forward to helping improve market opportunities to the benefit of both BluEarth and electricity ratepayers.”
Roslyn comes to BluEarth with over a decade of experience in the energy industry, including eight years with GE in their Power business unit. Roslyn held leadership roles in both the Renewables and Distributed Power divisions at GE, where she was responsible for the strategy, growth, and performance of those teams in Canada. Through these roles, Roslyn has worked with developers in all stages of wind and thermal energy development, in all major regions in the country. She was previously elected to the Canadian Wind Energy Association’s Board of Directors.

McMann is a former Olympic rower and world champion medalist. She has an undergraduate degree in chemical & biochemical engineering from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the University of Calgary.
