NEAC - Network of European
Active Citizens is an international,
non profit Organization whose aim is to stimulate a broader conscience in
participation of people for the choices and strategies of developing a
democratic culture.
The Association engages itself to act to value, spread and use any
creative expressive way, and therefore will activate, at national and
international level, programmes for information and training.
By means of promotional adhesions, partnerships and synergies, an
infrastructure with the network has been formed, this will be able to
contribute to the growing of individuals, associations and groups and
give important contributions to the European citizen development |

U-Speak Project
Objective of the project is to encourage active youth
participation by creating opportunities for the involvement of
young people in European debates concerning youth unemployment
and the future of the EU Structural Funds.

Italian Language Course in Procida
On 2012, March 22 - 28 on the Isle of Procida
(Italy) will be held an Italian Language Course geared
towards teachers currently teaching Italian or intending
to do so. Aim of the courses is to make a positive
impact on the participants personal and professional
competencies with regards to their language skills and
understanding of intercultural exchanges with the other
participants in the group.
The second edition of the Course will be held in
September
2012.

As registered team of United Nations
Partnerships for Sustainable Development, by the 1st
to the 9th May 2011, NEAC Association was present in New York for the CSD-19
Partnerships Fair.
There we made a presentation about our initiatives and
showcase our activities.
We also had a desk where
display and distribute information related to our
organization.

Youth Training Course in Procida (Italy) |
Held
in Procida next October 6/12, the training course aims to empower
the youth organizations to gain better access to the media, more
publicity, and work more effectively and rationally. Preparing a
strategic approach in the PR and marketing will allow the youth
organizations to increase publicity for their working activities
and create better position for their organizations from all
aspects.

Rhodes Youth Forum 2010 |
|
Our
Network of European Alimentary Culture has been
selected by the jury to be a finalist in the
Stockholm Challenge Award 2008 with a chance
to win the Stockholm Challenge Trophy.
The prize ceremony toke place in the Stockholm City Hall on
May 22, in the evening.

n October, 2010 on the Island of
Rhodes the first Rhodes Youth Forum take place. The
Forum was initiated by World Public Forum “Dialogue
of Civilizations” in 2009 on the 7th Annual
Session of the Rhodes Forum as an institution aimed
to involve the modern youth in the analysis of the
global dialogue of civilizations agenda and to
develop prospective strategies for the harmonious
progress of the humanity.

Council
Decision of 27 November 2009 has designated 2011 as the European
year of voluntary activities promoting active citizenship. The
overall purpose of the European year of volunteering is to
encourage and support the efforts of the European Union, the Member
States, local and regional authorities, to create conditions
conducive to volunteering in the European Union and to increase the
visibility of voluntary activities in the EU.
