How to get there: By road - east of Barnwell Road or turn left off Coldhams Lane into Nuttings Road cul-de-sac. Foot/cycle - entrances on Uphall Road and Barnwell Road.
Bus route Citi 3.
Visitor facilities: On street parking on Uphall Road and four spaces on Barnwell Road.
Good wheelchair access with flat terrain.
Circular path.
What to see: Habitats include grassland, scrub and pond.
Species include blackthorn, hawthorn and wild rose scrub.
Bee orchids in early summer.
Birds include blackcap, willow warblers, redwings and fieldfares. Frogs and toads breed on site and grass snakes occur. Butterflies include common blue and meadow brown.
Volunteer and 'Friends of' groups: Weekly Tuesday Volunteers Group work in partnership with City Greenways Project Officer Iain Webb, over all the LNRs and other greenspace.
