Nickelback’s newest album, “Here and Now” is currently the #2 album on the Hard Rock Albums Billboard chart and is set to tour the new material in Europe later this summer.
This is a big deal, since the band hasn’t played in Europe in 2009. All you Nickelback heads must be excited about this, and there’s got to be a lot of you, who else is buying this album?
Anyways, the tour kicks off on September 7 in Paris, play 17 dates, and wrap up a month later on October 7 in England.
Lead singer Chad Kroeger says, “We can’t wait to get back and play in Europe. Our shows there have always been some of the most memorable for us and it’s all because of the fans.”
The band is comprised of Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger, Ryan Peake and Daniel Adair. Since the band first came onto the scene in1995, they have sold 45 million albums worldwide, have won MTV Awards, People’s Choice Awards, as well as being named “Group of the Decade” by Billboard magazine in 2009.
The band also just released his video for “Lullaby” and will release new music video “This Means War” next week.
