From Rojava Plan Wiki
With 3D printers we can take the first step towards an autonomous localized production economy in Rojava.
We can build:
- Prosthetics for soldiers (currently they have to go abroad, and often that simply doesn't happen - they don't get a prosthetic).
- Handguns (MP1 Shuty) which give low cost protection to families and civilians.
- Lab science equipment.
- Educational tools for schools.
- Molds for aluminium or steel parts. Plans for cheap smelters exist on the internet, and together with these, we can produce lots of small expensive parts that come from Turkey.
Furthermore 3D printers are a great educational tool.
