jobs.mo.gov – Register with the State of Missouri job service. This site offers yearly wage information and projections, job listings by county, and job listings throughout the nation.

www.kansasworks.com – Register with the State of Kansas job service to conduct a job search, research career information, receive e-mails on new job openings, build an on-line resume, and learn about other job-seeker services.

www.arjoblink.arkansas.gov – Register with the Arkansas state job service, check out job opportunities, and access labor market information.

wwww.ok.gov/oesc_web/ – Register with the Oklahoma state job service and look at job opportunities that are in our area.

www.dol.gov/odep – Labor Dept.’s Office of Disability Employment Policy web site that provides national leadership by developing and influencing disability-related employment policy and practice affecting the employment of people with disabilities.

www.usajobs.gov – The US government’s official system for Federal jobs and employment information.

Career Assessments

Crowder College uses Kuder Journey to provide students with an online career assessment to assist in the exploration of majors and careers. If you are interested in taking our career assessment, register for a free account at http://kuderjourney.com/ using the activation code: J3835469XDQ. Kuder Journey provides you with three assessments to gauge your interests, skills, confidence, and work values. Once completed, you will be able to research occupations and majors based on your results. If you would like to schedule an appointment to discuss your results with an advisor, please contact careerservices@crowder.edu.

Career Research

www.onetonline.org – O*Net Online is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor and is a good resource for researching various careers based on industry, personality type, job outlook, etc. You can find information on the tasks, necessary skills, work activities, education required, salary, outlook, related occupations, etc.

www.missourieconomy.org – Missouri’s Economic Research & Info Center web page where you can find info on economic indicators, industry & occupational studies, regional info, and community issues.

Graduate Information

Each year our office collects information on where our graduates are going for Associate of Applied Science, Associate of Science in Nursing, and Certificate programs.
