The watch industry of today has a new set of rules. With the onset of the technology boom in the last couple of decades, telling time no longer requires a wearable device. For that reason watches have become a fashion statement, now more than ever- and that’s really exciting for us.
There’s no reason not to break the mold of traditional digital or analog watches. We can all agree that technology has come a long way, but funneling it into the same boring shell just doesn’t do it justice. We are all visually inspired people. Our products aim to spark conversations that bring like-minded people together.
We are on a mission to create a collection of products that scream for attention, that some may consider the misfits of the industry. Delivering exceptional quality at a fair cost is a no-brainer. By designing products that eliminate gratuitous detail and celebrate form, we have the opportunity to apply a wide range of color and materials that appeal to every personality.

ABOUT THE WATCH
The TRIQ (Triquetrum), inspired by the triangular shaped bone in the wrist, is designed to capture curiosity. The form has been refined to a single triangular prism, providing an ideal platform for striking material combinations. This unique profile aims to expand the way people think of a traditional timepiece and act as a prelude to future form explorations. While fashion is not always practical, we refuse to sacrifice any comfort with our design. To offset the sharp angular design, we softened every edge of the body with a uniform curve. This allows the watch to nest on your wrist for a “barely-there” feel.
A single acrylic face is paired with the high density polyethylene (plastic) body. By using a heat and pressure sensitive film to activate the digital movement, all physical buttons have been eliminated, keeping the form simple and elegant. An energy efficient LED movement displays adjustable time and date. Bright white LED’s are used to provide visual contrast from the smoke-black acrylic lens in dark as well as daylight environments. Soft-touch™ silicone bands are paired with each watch and can be easily interchanged.
After months of exchanging detail drawings and testing physical samples of the watch, we discovered the perfect formula of function and craftsmanship. With such a simplified form, the manufacturing of this piece was all about the minute details. With the added struggle of communicating across an 8,000 mile gap, our best solution was to enlist the help of a quality control inspector who could work directly with our manufacturer to maintain a high standard of quality as well as overall design integrity. This level of prototype testing gives us the peace of mind that our finished product will endure even the most active lifestyle.

If our funding reaches $25,000 a limited edition Kickstarter Green TRIQ will be unlocked as a reward! This one of a kind TRIQ will only be available as a reward on Kickstarter as a thank you to all the awesome people who made FEMÛR a reality. The Kickstarter Green TRIQ will be limited to 500 units, each with a unique serial number engraved on the watch case. Thank you all so much!
Stretch Goal #2- $35,000
FEMÛR TRIQ WOOD Collection!
If our funding goal reaches $35,000 the TRIQ WOOD collection will be unlocked for our backers! These handmade watches feature a solid wood body available in either Black Walnut or Maple. The Black Walnut TRIQ will feature your choice of either a black genuine leather band with a gold buckle, or a FEMÛR patterned silicon band. The Maple TRIQ with feature a light brown genuine leather band with a gold buckle. Each TRIQ WOOD is custom cut then finished by hand. With the wood grain variation in each watch, you will truly have a one of a kind piece. Each TRIQ WOOD watch will have the same touch activated digital movement.
TIMELINE
Risks and challenges
There is always a risk in delayed production due to unexpected volume but we have strong communication with our manufacturers and are confident in their ability to keep on schedule. We work closely with a third party quality control inspector that makes sure each and every watch is on par with the quality we demand.
Should any issues surface during production we will keep a timely and honest dialogue with all our backers to keep them up to date.
