Window Jambs

by Dongle

Version: 2.0Added: 2012-07-23Last Edited: 2012-07-23File Size: 1.35 MBDownloads: 173

Description:

A new interior tile piece, the Window Jamb.
--------------------------------------------------
These are some modified Bethesda tile sets. The take the common and rich interior windows and reduce the tile to just a single wall. They are sized and positioned to fit an interior "entrance" tile the way a doorjamb would, hence Window Jamb. The idea is to make interior windows more versatile. You are not stuck with the existing tile's intended placement, and can be more creative.
-------------------------
Two tile types are included; C_Plain and C_Rich. Three window types; Bay, Rectangle, and Triangle. The basic ones use all the stock textures. The ones ending in "Alpha" use my World-Famous translucent glass texture, if you want to get fancy and have something -outside- your windows use these.

Version 2.0 now adds Imperial style window jambs. The takes the In_impbig_wall_01 piece used to close off the large Imperial room tile, cuts a hole in it, and adds the three window shapes. There is also one wall that adds two of the triangular style windows. This set also features translucent "Alpha" versions.
-------------------------
Meshes only, no mod is included.
-------------------------
These are merely an adjustment of the stock game's meshes. You are free to use these in any Morrowind project you wish. You may modify or re-skin them as you please. Please do not port for use outside of The Elder Scrolls series. Asking ahead to use them is not necessary.

Submitter Comments:

I made a few improvements to this mod prior to uploading on account of the former download links being broken.

1.Changed textures on all the window shutters and the shutter edges to use Tx_wood_interior_plain.tga to match
the frames as the contrasts in wood types did not look good especially if using texture replacers.

2.Adjusted the Uv maps for scale on several of the models.

3.In_WinJamb_Imp_RecAlpha.NIF in the original mod was in fact a duplicate of one of the bay meshes this was rectified by making a new mesh as per the screenshot.

4.Made the included comparison screenshots.
