Description:Bycote's Better Attacks is a simple mod that changes the damage values of most weapons in the game so the player can disable the in-game "always use best attack" option without suffering for it. Specifically, the three damage types (slash, chop, and thrust) on any given weapon have been set exactly equal to the damage of the weapon's original best attack.For example - the slash, chop, and thrust damage on a Daedric Battle Axe are all three set to 1-80 in this mod. The purpose of using this mod and disabling the "always use best attack" option is simply to add a *little* more variety and enjoyment to the game's combat by allowing your character to choose between three different attacks with his weapon instead of only one. To use the different attacks, you must be moving (or at least pressing a key that would normally make your character move) before you start to attack. Whether you're moving forward, backward, left, or right is what decides the attack your character does - I'm sure you'll have no trouble figuring out the specifics. ;^) And yes, this means that cracking somebody over the head with a spear will hurt them just as badly as thrusting it through their body. If that bothers you too badly, then don't use this mod. ======================================= This mod does not require any expansion, but it does support them if you use one or both.
