Solar car parks could become hot property
CARPORTS could be the next big thing in renewable energy if a new project in Brisbane proves successful.Yesterday, Australian Greens deputy leader Senator LarissaWaters launched Shakra Energy’s PA Central Solar Carpark in Buranda.
Boasting hundreds of solar panels on top of carports,it will generate clean power for a nearby retail and office building and will stop the release of more than 100 tonnes of carbon dioxide pollution a year. 24 Oct 2015
