As a perk for his role in acquiring him power, Norman Osborn had Bullseye fill of the role of Hawkeye on his Dark Avengers team. Being deadly efficient with all manner of projectile weapons, including arrows, he was a natural fit for the position. However, his murderous tendencies wound up making Osborn often regret his decision because they reflected poorly on him in the media. When stopping a robbery, Bullseye -- dressed as Hawkeye -- killed all three criminals, and then when the woman he saved asked for his autograph referred to Osborn as his boss, he killed her by stabbing her through the eye with her pen. To top it off, he blew up the news helicopter recording what just happened with an explosive arrow. Osborn was furious.
