Wrath of Euphrates fighters liberate three villages

RAQQA – Fighters of the “Wrath of Euphrates” campaign to liberate Raqqa from Daesh liberated three villages, three hills north of Raqqa on Saturday, it has been reported.

As the Wrath of Euphrates campaign continues in its eighth day, fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are advancing in the region, inflicting heavy blows on Daesh gangs.

According to ANHA reporters on the ground, fighters liberated more villages after the Siluk and Ain Issa fronts joined together at the Balikh River on Friday.

After the village of Sheikh Hasan, located 12km southwest of Qantari village, its overlooking hill, the village of Siran, its overlooking hill and Alghazali village were encircled by figters, the villages have been liberated from Daesh control.

On the other hand, the international route crossing near Hayes village has also been liberated.

Fighters continue advancing in the region.
