Forest City, Iowa—Eagles off to a rough start at the Waldorf Tournament.

AIB fell in three (15-25, 11-25, 14-25) to Mayville State University and in four (25-21, 14-25, 10-25, 16-25) to Dakota State University. 

Overall on the day, the Eagles picked up 55 kills with Kirstin Johnson (SO/Lincoln, Calif. ) leading the way with six in the first match and Ava Payton (FR/Yuba City, Calif. ) leading the second match with nine.

Rochelle Means (JR/Afton, Iowa) picked up 28 assists on the day, while Ashley Libero supplied game-high on the day of 18 digs verse Dakota State.

Next up, AIB will finish day two at the Waldorf Tournament tomorrow, October 18.  Games are set for 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
