Information Centers

South Dakota's Interstate Information Centers along I-90 and I-29 are great pit stops, but they offer so much more to our traveling guests. Speak with a travel counselor, pick up brochures and find up-to-date road and weather information. Information Centers are easy to spot. Just look for the large stone teepees.

Travel Counselors

From mid-May to mid-September, a crew of more than 70 travel counselors staff the Interstate Information Centers. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily, these welcome leaders will greet you with a smile and answer all your travel questions. Of the 13 centers, 11 are open seven days a week. The two Tilford centers are open Monday through Saturday.

Kiosks

Find instant updates on road construction, road conditions and weather forecasts at the touch of a screen at interactive information kiosks. You can always ask a travel counselor for assistance.

Interstate Information Centers

Note: The information desks close for the winter season, however, restrooms, pay phones, and information kiosks, where available, are accessible year-round.

Daily, in-season hours: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
