With all the horrors and tragedies in the US it's almost like it was built on an ancient Indian burial ground.

Are you implying the the millenia of coastal raids, military occupations, the Tartar and Ottoman Yokes were not imfluential in the development of Europe? And while Europe was facing these pressures they responded by expanding the economic base to technologically and economically outpace their threats.

Also, I find your lack of discussion on the imposition of Islam and the Arabic demand for slaves over the nothern and western parts of Africa disappointing.
