To the Sea Devils

I am grateful to have been on the Tiger Cruise on the USS Lassen (DDG 82). It goes without saying that your hard work and dedication shows ...and that you guys are an awesome crew! You went about your daily routine each day and still found time to welcome and entertain the Tigers while onboard. I appreciated you all for your service, but twofold appreciate you more for experiencing the way you live and went about your daily routine always with a smile.

Thank you for all you do and for an amazing experience and I wish each and every one of you the very best!

I'd like to extend my profound thanks to the officers and crew of USS Lassen. You are a testament to our country and I'm extremely grateful to all of you, parti...cularly Mr. Maddox, for the once in a lifetime experience that was the 2016 Tiger Cruise. Everyone I met was courteous, professional, and an example to the rest of our Navy. I had a phenomenal time, I learned an incredible amount from each and every crew member I spoke to, and I'll never forget this opportunity. I'm truly honored to have spent time with you on such an impressive, beautiful, and downright badass vessel. Thank you for what you do for us.

My wife and I were on a cruise ship docked in Nassau, Bahamas. The USS Lassen was docked next to us. We requested and were granted permission to go aboard, and ...were treated to a marvelous personal tour of this amazing warship. Every crew member we met was both engaging and knowledgeable, and eager to share his or her enthusiasm for the ship and its functions. We want to give a big thank you to the men and women of the USS Lassen, first for their gracious hospitality and for answering our questions, but more important, for their service to our country and their huge part in keeping us all safe. Toured the ship docked in Staten Island. Everyone on board from enlisted to officers were courteous and professional. Really outstanding crew! Enjoyed the tour ...and wish everyone gets home safe. Vacationing at Los Cabos Mexico and the USS Lassen is docked right in front of our resort. It has been here for the last 3 days and I have no idea why.

I checked onboard as Command Master Chief in mid February. I cannot believe I am working along side great Sailors on a fantastic ship. GO SEA DEVILS!!
