The GISS Institute on Climate and Planets was a research and education program for teachers and students led by NASA and Columbia University scientists from 1994-2004. These archived webpages offer ICP education tools and information to integrate research experiences into science learning.

+ ICP RESEARCH

*
Uncertainties about climate change will exist for decades, and perhaps longer. Scientists at NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies and the Earth Institute at Columbia University created exciting roles for students and teachers to work on climate research projects.

+ ICP EDUCATION

*
ICP developed learning modules and tools designed for guided science inquiry. They are based upon real world climate and environmental research conducted by teams of scientists, teachers and students, and create a setting for interdisciplinary learning.
