Bill Would Prohibit Sex Offenders From Entering School Grounds

SACRAMENTO – In order to further protect children from dangerous sex offenders, Senator Connie M. Leyva (D-Chino) today announced that—when the California State Senate convenes in early December—she will introduce legislation to prohibit any registered sex offender from being present on a school campus in California for any reason.

Senator Leyva hosted a Young Men’s Leadership Conference on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the InTech Center in Fontana.  Over 150 attendees from throughout the 20th State Senate District benefited from the presentations of individuals who invested their time and expertise to explain life lessons they had learned outside of their traditional academic experience.
