The Opportunities Independence Fund

  • The Independence Fund makes life changing equipment a reality by making affordable loans for the purchase of Assistive Technology such as hearing aids, dentures, recreational equipment, adapted vehicles and more. Loans can be for the full cost of the equipment or a portion of the cost.
  • The Independence Fund offers affordable interest rates and reasonable repayment terms, and credit counseling.

 The Sue Williams Freedom Fund (SWFF)
A program of the Vermont Center for Independent Living and is operated in partnership with the State Independent Living Council (SILC). It offers Vermonters with disabilities and Deaf Vermonters an opportunity to develop an achieve their own goals for living independently. Through the Sue Williams Freedom Fund, people with disabilities can obtain grants and funding for services and equipment that will help them live independently in their own homes and gain control of their lives.

 


Kelly Brush Foundation

Grant funding is available to economically eligible individuals with spinal cord injuries for the purchase of adaptive sporting equipment.

We can help you get FREE telephone equipment, like an amplified phone or a TTY, if you qualify!

The EDP provides Vermonters who are deaf or Hard of Hearing with equipment such as telephones to enable communication and independence.
