The Commission administers several state and federal financial aid programs in California with the Cal
Grant being our largest program. The Cal Grant program may pay up to a 100% of your tuition and fees
at California public universities and other Cal Grant eligible institutions. To qualify, make sure you:
• Complete the 2017-2018 FAFSA by the March 2 filing deadline.
• Verify your GPA is submitted to the Commission before the March 2 deadline.
• Open a WebGrants for Students account at: https://mygrantinfo.csac.ca.gov/logon.asp to check
on your application status, monitor your Cal Grant eligibility, and make school changes among
other things.
• Contact your campus’ financial aid office to complete any other requirements to be considered
for financial aid.
If you missed the March 2nd deadline, you may be considered for the September 2nd Cal Grant award
that are for students attending a California Community College.
