Early Day Fish Ladder! Early Day Fish Ladder!

Fish ladders are not a new concept. This fish ladder was installed at Folsom Dam in 1919.  Getting fish ladders right is a different story! New fish ladders give fish a resting place, ensure that fish do not expend all of their energy climbing the ladder and assure that dam functions revolve around the fish spawning season.
