Online Well Searches

Well log records that describe the construction, depth and yield of water wells are maintained. More recent records (since the 1981) may also be filed with the local health district.
 
NOTE: Below search tools marked with now return well sealing and drilling reports.
Not all of the submitted sealing reports are in the database at this time.

Below database searches access 100% of well log records.

 
Below geographic searches access approximately 50% of well log records.

Before you call, fax, email or write, please gather as much of the below information as possible about the wells of interest.

  1. County the well is located in
  2. Township the well is located in
  3. Street address where well is located
  4. Nearest intersection to the well
  5. Original property owners name and/or name of owner at time well was drilled
  6. Approximate year the well was drilled
  7. Name of the drilling contractor for the well
  8. Names of the previous owners of the property
  9. Other names that might occur on the well log
  10. Subdivision name and lot number

Once the above data has been collected please submit your request by any method below. Be sure to specify which type(s) of records (well log or sealing report) you are interested in for the locations given.

Financing Household Water Wells

A program operated by the federal government can provide funds for water well improvements. Rural Housing and Rural Utilities Grants and Loans are available to very low-income rural residents who own and occupy a dwelling in need of repairs.
