On November 17-18, 2014, the Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy (DOE/NE) hosted the annual U.S.-ROK INERI Steering Committee meeting in Washington, D.C. The Steering Committee reviewed the progress of its eight active civil nuclear energy research and development (R&D) projects. It also selected seven new R&D projects that were then initiated in December 2014. These projects were selected based on an open solicitation and independent review process prior to the annual Steering Committee meeting.
