The UWCFD is proud to open up their annual Stair Climb Fundraiser to all state employees who are interested in taking part by pledging today.
This event will go to benefit the Holocaust Center for Humanity. This organization helps teach our children to stand up for what is right. Its anti-bullying and tolerance messages are relevant to our world today and remind us of how our actions can prevent violence and hate.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 12-1 p.m.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Spokane Masquerade Ball will be postponed until spring of 2017.
If you have already purchased tickets to the ball, you will be presented with a couple of different options. You will be able to transfer those tickes to the new date or can request a refund.
Please contact the state CFD office for more details.
Much like Well Fed Well Read that caters to food and books every year in April, the YWCA of Olympia is setting up a two-week diaper drive and allowing state offices in Thurston County to participate.
From November 7-18, YWCA is inviting state agencies from around Thurston County will compete against each other to see who can bring in the most diapers for those in need.
The CFD prides itself on providing its donors multiple different opportunities to learn about charities in our communities.
One of the best ways to showcase our charities is through video content.
Take a look at just a few of the stories of our donors and charities by visiting our videos page. And while you are there, why not watch a couple of our favorite fun videos as well.
Bloodworks NW is partnering with the Office of Insurance Commissioner to ask state employees to help BUY THE BLOODMOBILE and save lives.
Proceeds from this very special campaign will go to Bloodworks NW of Olympia, for the purchase of a new Bloodmobile to help take and deliver much needed blood throughout all regions of Western Washington.
