IGC-South public entrance closed temporarily for building maintenance
The 302 W. Washington Street entrance to the Indiana Government Center South (IGCS) building will be closed starting Monday, April 11, 2016, for building maintenance. Temporary general public access will be directed to the 10 North Senate Avenue during this closure.

Indiana is a great state to live, work and raise a family.  At the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, we want to help Hoosiers get the tools they need to succeed in the workplace, so businesses can flourish. Our focus isn’t regulatory burden, but rather economic growth and delivering a high level of customer service to every Hoosier licensee.

We license professions as set in statute by the Indiana General Assembly.  The governor appoints members of the oversight boards and commissions, and our staff navigates the details and provides customer support to license almost half a million working Hoosiers.

Our website is designed to be a one-stop-shop to get you what you need.

The navigation tools on the left and right side bars allow you to do business as efficiently as possible.  You can renew your license or search for licensed professionals.  You can learn about educational or other requirements needed for a license by clicking on each Profession, order a license card and much more.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Pursuant to Senate Enrolled Act 421, the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency studied the concept of a self-certification registration registry and issued a report to the Legislative Council on October 1, 2014. The report includes the following:

1. Occupations that may be included on the registry;
2. Whether to provide title protection for the individuals included on the list;
3. Enforcement provisions that would be used;
4. A description of auditing and maintenance of the list;
5. The cost of establishing and maintaining the list; and
6. The cost of an individual applying for and renewing inclusion on the list.
