Travel Warning to Iraq

 

Please review the Department of State's The Latest Iraq Travel Warning (December 4, 2015) and our Country Specific Information Sheet (January 28, 2016). The Embassy also strongly encourages all U.S. citizens traveling to or working in Iraq to enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive emergency messages and other important communications directly from the Embassy by email.
