In 1992, Sandia National Laboratories started the Meshing Roundtable as a small meeting of like-minded companies and organizations striving to establish a common focus for research and development in the field of mesh and grid generation. Sandia National Laboratories continues to organize the International Meshing Roundtable, which has become recognized as an international focal point annually attended by researchers and developers from dozens of countries around the world.
The International Meshing Roundtable continues to focus on bringing together researchers and developers from academia, national labs and industry in a stimulating, open environment to share technical information related to mesh generation and general pre-processing techniques. This year's roundtable will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton - Crystal City in Washington, DC.

A new User Forum event will be part of the 25th International Meshing Roundtable. This event will feature 9 state-of-the-art software products selected from leading commercial and research institutions specializing in meshing and geometry tools. Participants will be able to attend hands-on tutorials and demonstrations that will walk through the details of using the tools for practical problems. We are pleased to be hosting the 25th International Meshing Roundtable in Washington, DC, which is known for its distinctive history, culture, art, museums, national monuments, and outdoor activities. The United States national capital since 1791, serving as the center for the three branches of Federal Government. The city hosts the foreign embassies of 176 countries and is the headquarters for numerous international organizations and professional associations.
Known as home to a wide range of museums including the Smithsonian collections which are open to the public free of charge, Washington, DC offers something for everyone.
