All routine American Citizens Services provided at the Embassy and Consulates General require an appointment, unless the service needs to be provided on an emergency basis.

The American Citizen Services (ACS) Units at U.S. Embassy Riyadh and Consulates General Jeddah and Dhahran can accept applications for Social Security numbers and distribute federal benefits payments.  The ACS Units cannot process claims, but can provide information on how to contact the Social Security Administration.
