The Decision Support System (DSS) unit is the reporting hub for the Department of Community Health. DSS oversees a collection of databases that house eligibility and claims data for both the Medicaid and State Health Benefit Plan populations. The current MMIS vendor which provides access to Medicaid data via Business Objects is Hewlett Packard. The current DSS vendor is Truven Health Analytics. The DSS includes a combined database of both Medicaid and State Health Benefit Plan data.
